Fresh Sardines done over BBQ grill on patio by matriarch and boss. Local hangout with minimal tourists. Authentic Portuguese experience. Carlos is amazing at what he does! He is so welcoming and friendly he makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

This was a street party. Apparently, it is happening in several areas of Lisbon and goes on through the 13th of June, which is a Saints holy day. It was fun, but the organization was poor. I believe that it will get better as the days progress.

They have very good sardine and I was fully satisfied. Special pink drink, tinto de verão fonly for summer) was also good. Staffs are friendly and had good atmosphere. Would love to come back.
Great grilled makrill and skewers with beautiful tender meat. Really glad we stumbled upon this gem. Absolutly recommend it!

Hidden in a typical Portuguese neighbourhood: the best Portuguese food from the BBQ with very friendly and funny Carlos, surrounded by locals. What a great afternoon we had. Would highly recommend it to every one. Great food, drinks, atmosphere: loved it!!! And their prices are very reasonable! Kids also loved it. Would definitely go back when in Lisbon!!

A true Portuguese gem. Recommended to us by a native who does a local street art tour. Grilled fish and chicken cooked on an outdoor bbq. Lovely fresh salad. Generous portions. This is a no frills place but as authentic as you are going to get in Lisbon. Recommended

OMG!!! Never was lunch be this tasty, fresh and beautiful.. The decent price was just a great bonus.. Highly recommended..
What an authentic gem, a real traditional local frequented restaurant, with great grills and stakes, beside Bacalhau dishes. Nice esplanade, genuine local Portuguese Bairro athmosfere. Nando the owner is the lead of the local residents. As Portuguese as it can be!

Loved this place, fabulous food and very friendly staff. We had mixed grill, dorata, and the chicken -all superb! Meal for 4 with several drinks each came to €65. Highly recommended, not many places that cook outside with the barbeque and also have outside tables!

On September 2025 Adrie and I, Greeth have celebrated our 12,5 year anniversary here in this restaurant. We had a plan: inviting Portuguese people who cannot afford to eat out. Carlos listened to our wishes, we discussed the menu and he invited people from the neighborhood. Miguel, the Fado singer brought tears to our eyes. And although we never met before, for us it felt like being together with our Portuguese family, a connection from the heart ❤️
